I trained with Gratte Brothers as an apprentice where I learned commercial and industrial electrical works. Working on large sites with multiple trades and personnel.

I moved to Wesley Electrical Ltd once I had completed my apprenticeship with Gratte Brothers, this is where I worked with the testing department and gained my City and Guilds 2391 training qualification.

In 1^st November 2010 as a joint venture with Tom, I decided to join Tidey Electrical Ltd to expand the electrical division.

Through this joint venture we have had the pleasure of working for some great clients such as BEIS, Cabinet Office and Virgin Media Business to name a few….

Trained with a local Electrical contractor qualifying as an Electrical Engineer in the Electrical Commercial and domestic industry in 1976.

Worked for several Electrical business installing Electrical services in to Supermarkets and Breweries he left and joined a Bovis group Electrical Business installing small and large scale Temporary electrical works rising to be the manager of electrical services at their local branch in Epping, Essex.

Left to start his own Electrical business in 1985 and had success working for every major construction companies working on projects from Disney in Paris with a team of Electrical / Data managers for Leham McGovern Bovis and the Disney Imagineering department, Lime house link project with 20 No Engineers installing Temporary HV and LV services during the four-year contract plus many other projects some 80 other small and large sites.

After building the company into an Eighty strong two depots business it was sold to Bovis Construction Ltd and Mr Tidey became the Divisional director for their Electrical division managing seven depots nationally.

Instrumental in winning many large and small projects including Blue water, Lakeside, The Trafford Centre decided in 1996 to leave and branch out into the Data networking market place on his own.

Initially we set up a small team of Data engineers installing Networks into Marks and Spencer’s, Inland revenue offices and other smaller clients through third party partner.

Became accredited installers for Computacenter and was loaned to LOCOG to oversee and manage the final delivery of all the Electrical and data services on many of the external venues outside of the main area.

Consultants to Bovis for data works installed within temporary facilities within the Olympic village plus installing new cabling due to poorly installed services.

We have worked in Partnership with NTL now Virgin Media for many years and oversee Structured cabling works on many client’s sites for Data Cabinet, WIFI and network cabling installations inclusive of active kit installation and telecommunications fault finding and repairs

Government accredited and have been working for many agencies installing Data, Electrical and AV services throughout the government property portfolio.
