We will always recommend using an air blown fibre solution if you have multi-site locations where you may need to update the cabling infrastructure at a later date. Please see below the benefits of a microblo fibre solution:

If you have an existing installation that isn’t functioning properly or you’re concerned about its performance, our in-house team of technicians can visit your site to test your cabling. We’ll assess its current performance and provide a detailed report, highlighting any issues and offering expert advice.

Installations
Every fibre installation we carry out is tested using our industry standard Fluke DSX cable testers, this gives the customer peace of mind that the installation is certified correctly.
The customer will receive a detailed Fluke test report as a PDF document for their records on every installation we carry out.

Case Studies
Boulby Mine
Remote Fibre
Our team have travelled to Whitby on several occasions to assist OGELIT / STFC with the upgrade of their fibre and copper infrastructure for their existing Dark Matter Lab. The mine itself is 1.1 kilometres below the ground in a working polyhalite and salt mine.
Our engineer had to wear full overalls, hard hat, glasses, safety boots and mine survival accessories during installation in challenging conditions.
The works consisted of terminating Leviton 48c OS2 fibre run 1.4 kilometres and terminating weatherproof fibre joints along the route.
Cat6a has been run throughout and terminated into a new Excel 47u server cabinet complete with chrome 24-way keystone patch panels.
We have redressed the existing patch leads and introduced colour coding by function to each critical service.
The fibre was then tested using our Fluke DSX8000 cable tester with the power source and light metre ends.
Client was issued with a full PDF certification and 25 year warranty on parts.
Lister Hospital
Comms Link
The hospital had a critical OM4 MM 12c fibre that needed to be re-routed to a new comms cabinet and re-terminated, within a weekend window to the operational urgencies within the hospital. Our team re-terminated the fibre onto a new 24 way multimode fibre panel and added lasercut labelling to the facia for clear identification.
The fibre was then tested using our Fluke DSX8000 cable tester with the power source and light metre ends.
Client was issued with a full PDF certification and 25 year warranty on parts.
Southern Water
Full Network Upgrade
Our team was called in to look at the existing infrastructure at one of their main water treatment plants. On carrying out the survey it was determined that all the existing network uplinks, would need to be replaced in order for Virgin Media to carry out their Cisco switch and firewall upgrade.
This network interlinks where upgraded to OS2 24c, diversly run to each comms cabinet position. We installed Excel Networking 24way patch panels, terminated by our in-house fibre technicians.
We renewed the containment routes through out, with our team of highly skilled engineers installing 200mm galvanised tray hung from the ceiling and fixed to the wall.
The fibre was then tested using our Fluke DSX8000 cable tester with the power source and light metre ends.
Client was issued with a full PDF certification and 25 year warranty on parts.
